Nate's journey began at just seven years old in the Riverhounds Academy, where he honed his skills for an incredible 11 years. After a stellar college career at Duquesne University, Nate's dedication paid off with a pro contract for his hometown team
Sierra joined the Riverhounds Academy at 3 years old and later became a standout for the 2007 ECNL Girls team. In 2024, her pathway from training programs to the RDA led to a call-up to the U.S. Youth National Team.
The Riverhounds Academy utilizes state-of-the-art turf training facilities, including turf fields, performance areas and classroom spaces designed to support player development at all levels. RDA players are also provided with special opportunities to play at F.N.B. Stadium in Station Square, the club's 5,000 seat professional venue boasting incredible views of downtown Pittsburgh.
The RDA’s top boys’ and girls’ teams compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), the top youth soccer league in the country, offering elite competition, high-level coaching, and a proven pathway to college and national team opportunities. With a player-first approach and professionally run events, the ECNL provides the best environment for long-term player development.
The Riverhounds provide a clear player pathway from Grassroots to RDA teams to the club's USL Championship and USL W-League teams. Our structured development model helps prepare young athletes for college, professional and U.S. National Team opportunities.
